I too have been using the "backward" liquid hydrolysis method with 6300
analysis for several years. I do not use any additives, however I don't
currently use the Na borate on the hydrolysates.
Do you have a literature reference for the sodium borate method? I would
be interested in investigating this and other methods that might help AA
recoveries. Recently I have been having trouble getting reliable T, S & Y
recoveries (I don't report CMW).
I'm hoping to improve my recoveries of T, Y, S (and hopefully C). Do you
use any methods to get better recovery of CMW?
As an aside - What software do you use for data acquisition?
