Hi, we made 24 peptides on ACT396 with Fmoc (DIC) chemistry. After
cleavage, the mass spec. showed that some peptides have substantial
peak at theoretical MS + 163. The cleavage conditions were : cocktail
90%TFA, 4%TIS, 4% phenol and 2% water; reaction for 4 hours. The
resin was Rink MBHA amide resin. Is there any idea what this 163
mass will be. (We know that it's not Tyr.)
