We have an immediate opening for a postdoc to do biological mass
spectrometry. The research will focus on proteins and their involvement in
intracellular signal transduction processes. This includes the
identification of novel proteins as well as the characterization of
posttranslational modifications and their biological functions. The lab
will be equipped with Q-TOF, MALDI-TOF and single quad ESI mass
spectrometers. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or
Chemistry with some experience in protein purification/characterization
and/or biological mass spectrometry.
