Analytical Chemist
BS/MS degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry and 5-10 years related
experience or PhD and 0-4 years related experience (or equivalent)
required. This position requires a strong background in separation
science methods development (HPLC, Ion Pairing, GPC) and 2-4 years
experience in the analysis of radiolabeled compounds (HPLC
radiodetectors, gamma or beta counters, scintillation, decay analysis)
required. Biomolecule experience desired.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Biology and Synthetic
Chemistry to provide analytical support in the discovery of novel
radioactive molecules. Responsibilities will include: HPLC method
development for the analysis of radioactive compounds and driving the
technology in this area. Key components will also be tracking radioactive
materials; and maintaining knowledge of radioactive materials regulations.
