No complaints about peek tubing or fittings here. I've been using
Upchurch peek tubing for 7+ years now from 50 ul/minute to 2 ml per
minute (psi up to 3500) with .1% TFA/ACN and have never had a piece of
tubing burst. I haven't had much luck with the one piece fittings
with built in ferrules, they often pop. I've had very good luck with
fingertight II fittings (Upchurch, Delrin or peek) with a separate
ferrule. I also use the lite touch II (Upchurch), 2 piece ferrule
system to attach peek to injectors. You can use these with either
peek fittings or with a stainless steel nut. I can't comment on
injectors made out of peek though.

the problems that are being reported with PEEK tubing and fittings. We have
10
HPLC's in our labs that are used extensively and a quick survey of the
experienced
operators came up with nobody who would favour a return to SS. While PEEK
doesn't outperform (or underperform) SS in our opinion it's ease of use
gives it the nod.
