One of our most important needs for AAA has not been mentioned
(yet- who knows what got posted in the last few hours)- quantifying the
amount of protein or peptide ACCURATELY in a solution made up from a
weighed amount of peptide or protein containing unknown amounts of
counterions + water, as compared witha non amount of internal standard like
norleucine! This is still in my opinion THE ultimate method, against
which all others must be compared, for quantifying accurately
protein/peptide concentrations.
