You can export GRAMS data in ASCII format, open (or import) the data
file in Sigmaplot (or other graphic software, spread sheet such as Excel),
and replot the spectrum.
The GRAMS exported data file has an extention .PRN instead of .MS.
There are two format exporting GRAMS data due to the nonlinear relationship
between the mass and the flight time :
1) evenly spaced x (mass) - data;
2) non-evenly spaced x(mass) - data.
Sigmaplot has lots of good graphic feature. You may try to have the
data exported from GRAMS in either format. With Excel, if the data was
acquired in the Voyager STR with lots of chanels and small bin size
selected in the Scope, the file is huge. Excel may not be able to load the
whole file.
If you need further information, please feel free to contact me. Hope
this helps.

Subject: exporting maldi data
We have a PerSeptive Voyager DESTR and need to export the data (from their
Grams data display) to a data base program. We have sigmaplot for the IBM
and can import lotus data into it, and Grams has an export that says it
will put it into lotus format, but when we try to do this, we get an error
message from the Grams program that says "too little data". Has anyone
found a way to export Voyager maldi data into a graphics program for
preparation of figures that doesn't reduce the data resolution?
Thanks in advance
