Greetings,
I remember many years ago running AAA after the acid hydrolysis of synthetic
peptides followed (after pH adjustment) by the treatment of the amino acid
mixture with compounds which digested L-amino acids. In this way all of the
L-amino acids were gone, high-molecular weight species were removed after
and D-amino acids were quantitatively determined. This all was about the
evaluation of the racemization in the new coupling reagents studies.
