To obtain rapid analyses I would suggest that you contact a laboratory
that is geographically close to you. After a few analyses I am sure that
you will have a good idea as to the quality of their analyses.
A few laboratories have microwave hydrolysis facilities and can shorten
the turn around time by a day, otherwise 20-24 hrs has to be set aside for
hydrolysis time. Laboratories that are running analyses every day usually
have shorter turn around times since the equipment does not have to be
put into operation and standardized for every small batch of samples.
It is easy to understand why laboratories have to shut down
their analyzers when the number of samples analyzed per year is very low.
By supporting your fellow ABRF members that have analyzers, you will help
both them and yourself.
