CAREER OBJECTIVE: Peptide Chemist Position

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Design, solid and solution phase synthesises of biological peptides
(pseudobond peptides; Cys-Cys dimer; two disulfide bond peptides; cyclic
peptides; phosphopeptides, biotin-peptides; peptide-KLH conjugation;
etc) using Fmoc and t-Boc methods, structure-activity relationship
study, analysis and purification of peptides (10-50 AA, 500 mg - 30 g
crude peptides or 20 mg - 25 g purified peptides) by flash column
chromatography and RP-HPLC, etc.. Characterization of peptides by MS,
amino acid analysis and sequence analysis. These peptides referred to
Endocrinology (diabetes, hypertension); Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) and
Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) Epitopes; Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone
(LHRH) Agonists and Antagonists; Human Pancreatic Polypeptide (HPP),
PeptideYY (PYY) and Neuropeptide (NPY) Analogs; Amylin, Amylin-Salmon
Calcitonin Hybrid; Glucagon-Like Peptide-2 (GLP-2) analogs; Human
Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (hFSH) receptor peptides; etc..

Many years of experience in peptide synthesizers (ABI 430A, ABI 431A,
Beckmen 990, CS Peptide Synthesizer, Pioneer MPS Peptide Synthesis
System) and hands-on experience in organic synthetic methodologies and
skills in design, synthesis, isolation, purification and
characterization of novel organic compounds or small molecule drug
candidates, unnatural amino acids by LC, TLC, GC, HPLC, NMR, MS, UV and
IR.
