Minor correction to my previous post - it's been a while
since I actually ran Gel Rescuer, and I was hazey on one
detail:

I believe Gel Rescuer copies the *scan data* from the "bad"
gel file into the "dummy". It does not copy the resources in
the other direction, as I said above. Either way, one of the
files will be restored to good health. Don't throw either
away until you know which is the good one.
