Gel File corruption

Thanks to all who responded to my earlier message regarding Gel Files with
damaged resource forks. Gel Rescuer worked just great and was simple to use.
As the website thru which it is distributed is still down, I will be happy to
ftp out copies if anyone needs it.
Annoying, isn't it, to realize that ABI is well aware of this problem yet
hasn't prevented or corrected it or made us aware of the fact that Gel Rescuer
is available as shareware? I found that some ABI field and tech support
people were aware of it and some weren't, so obviously its not information the
company has made a strong effort to share with them. Those that know about it
have found out by word of mouth.
