Custom Sequencing... The Company provides custom DNA sequencing services
to academic researchers, private research groups, and the pharmaceutical.
In addition, due to proprietary long read technology the Company is
becoming increasingly involved in genomic sequencing initiatives.
Integrated Systems.... As a consequence of the drive to improve the overall
efficiency and effectiveness of services it provided, MWG-Biotech also
develops specific enabling technologies and specialized automated molecular
biology systems.
MWG-Biotech, Inc. has a number of open technical positions. The Company is
looking for experienced, high energy, self-starters to participate in the
initial set up, organization of its US operations and the long-term success
of the Company. The following opportunities are currently available:
Laboratory Director.... will provide scientific expertise and leadership in
DNA technology and molecular biology. The successful candidate will have an
advanced degree in the life sciences, industry experience and excellent
management skills. A proven track record in the development of DNA
technology, especially oligosynthesis, PCR and/or DNA sequencing is a must.
You should also have experience in the instrumentation required to
synthesize and sequence DNA, including software and bioinformatics.
Production Supervisors.... will manage the oligonucleotide manufacturing
process and a team of technicians providing oligosynthesis and modification
services. A life science or chemistry degree, and production expertise and
experience is required. Experience with GMP and ISO 9000 is a plus. Must be
familiar with the instrument technology of oligosynthesis, purification and
mass spectroscopy.
Production Technicians... as part of the oligosynthesis team you will be
responsible for the production, purification and quality control of
oligonucleotides using automated systems. A life science or chemistry
degree, and relevant industry experience is required. Must be "technology
literate".
