My laboratory is considering buying a low end automated peptide synthesizer
for the preparation of peptides between 20 and 45 amino acids in length
containing unnatural amino acids. I have been looking at the Rainin PS3,
the discontinued, but still available ABI Synergy, and the Advanced
Chemtech Model 90. Any recommendations, experiences, and comments with
regards to instrument reliability, quality of the peptides, and
ease/versatility of operation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very
much for your help!!
