I am experiencing a recurring problem with my native PAGEs, either stained
with silver than with G-250 Comassie; I see continuous lines (one to
three, as far as I can see) all along the horizontal length of the gel,
always appering at the same distance from the top. Besides, I am observing
side striking of the lanes, both when sample is loaded and not. I have
made new stocks for the gels, fearing some contamination of the solutions,
but the problem is still there and I am beginning to think that the cause
might have something to do with residues left on the combes.
Did anybody else experienced the same problem? does anybody have any
suggestion of the possible cause for these lines?
