Saeed,

You don't say if you are using a 373 or 377. We genotype using 373's
and have
seen sporadic lines which became more frequent prior to the stage motor
going out. Once we had a couple of gels with lots of lines all through
the gel when the PMT was getting flakey. We also saw some VERY bizarre
gels when a lazer was overheating-- we had blank stripes across the
gel as the lazer kicked in and out. Someone else was worried that it
was related to a matrix they were trying to make, but I doubt that would
do it.
