Does anyone know of and have used a source for a deuterium lamp for
ABi's 1000S Diode Array Detector other than Perkin-Elmer in the US?
PE only sells these lamps out of Norwalk and they have been on back
order since 10/22/99. First I was told they would be available 11/22
but now it is 12/22. I never had this problem when ABi supplied the
lamps.
I have contacted the Second Source and they say they can get the
lamp but has anyone tried their lamps? At $450 each I would like to
make sure they work. The lamps looks just like the one for the 120/
130 but they don't work in the 1000S since their intensity is not
high enough. Thanks in advance for any help.
