Amgen Peptide Technology Group is seeking to fill an open position
within its Peptide Production Team. This position is integral to
Amgen=92s core peptide synthesis operations and peptide-related project
efforts. Duties include carrying out solid phase synthesis and complete
characterization of project relevent peptides by using established
experimental protocols. The essential requirements include: i) a
Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Chemistry or related sciences with
3-plus years relevant experience in peptide chemistry laboratory.; ii)
technical experience with both manual and automated solid-phase peptide
synthesis, and HPLC purification methods, iii) the ability to
effectively work in a core prodution team environment and timely
communicate research results, iv) strong written and verbal
communication and computer skills.
