I have started to think about making my own IPG strips. Homemade IPG strips would certainly be less expensive than commercial ones and I would have control over the quality and composition of the gradients. Please e-mail me any hints or good references concerning the making IPG strips.
I am also interested in finding a good way to cut the strips evenly without possibly crushing the gel. I have read that some use a paper cutter, however, they don't say what kind (i.e. rolling wheel or blade).
I have heard of programs that can calculate the amount of each Immobiline for a particular gradient - how does one obtain this program? Anyone know who sells it?
Thanks
