ZymoGenetics is utilizing a bioinformatics approach to identify novel genes that
code for proteins with therapeutic potential. To support this effort we are
seeking a candidate at the scientist level to work in the Protein Biochemistry
Department. The candidate for this position should have a strong background in
all aspects of protein purification techniques. This should include both
conventional and affinity chromatography experience, along with analytical
techniques to support the purification efforts. Strong experience in the
purification of nonrecombinant proteins from natural sources including cell and
tissue extracts, cell culture conditioned media and serum is preferred. The
candidate should have a Ph.D. with 2+ years of post graduate research
experience.
