Senior Research Scientist/Research Scientist, Bioinformatics

A position is available immediately in the RPR Bioinformatics Department to
provide support for the RPR Cardiovascular program. Working closely with
molecular biologists, you will develop tools to facilitate the discovery of
new cardiovascular targets. As a member of a global bioinformatics team, you
will contribute to the cutting-edge integrated bioinformatics environment at
RPR.
Ph.D/MS in computer science, molecular biology or life sciences, you have a
very good knowledge of sequence analysis tools (GCG, BLAST, HMMs, Phrap), a
demonstrated programming experience in Perl, C, C++ or Java in a UNIX
environment and a significant knowledge of SQL and CGI programming. This
position requires excellent communication skills, initiative and technical
flexiblility.
