Job Description:
Genetics Institute is a leading biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and
commercialization of human pharmaceuticals through recombinant DNA and other technologies. The company has a diversified portfolio of licensed and proprietary pharmaceutical products at various stages of development, including treatments for anemia, hemophilia, cancer, bone damage, inflammatory conditions and immune system disorders.
This one year temporary position will be responsible for synthesis, processing, purification and analysis of oligonucleotides for protein discovery and genomics. Requirements include a BS/BA in biochemistry or chemistry and 0-2 years lab experience. Experience with automated DNA synthesis on ABI machines (394 and 3948 models), Macintosh or PC computers, gel electrophoresis and relational databases is preferred.
