We are performing an audit on our facility and would like
to compare the cost of services offered in-house with
like-institutions offering these services to out-side
users.

Peptide synthesis $/amino acid
RP-HPLC peptide mapping $/run
DNA sequencing $/gel lane
DNA synthesis(40 nmole scale) $/base

I'll suggest you grap all the 'old' ABRF-News together and go throught them.
I recall a good paper from Kathryn Ivanetich and Daniel Santi : June 1996
=> Methods and News p.24 of ABRF News volume 7, number 2.
And a lot of other ABRF surveys have been done.
I guess you better use their average values to compare your business.
