Hi Jim,
We mince the gels by making a small hole in the bottom of the tubes that
contain the gel piece and spinning these tubes at high speed into
another, bigger tube. The gel fragments as it passes through the hole
and there is no handling. The hole needs to be at the correct side or at
the bottom of the top tube for the bigger gel piece to squeeze through.
