Margie, Tom
Actually Tom's idea should work. The 120 and Procise HT HPLC's are
very similar except for refinements in the manufacturing. We used to use
upchurch guard columns instead of the New guard about 8 years ago and
stopped once upchurch sold us "dirty filters" that had UV absorbing
artifacts and refused to exchange them. Never went back but the problem
should have been solved by now (at least during our peptide mapping at
214nm it is). There was no difference in chromatography, so it could solve
the problem. The dynamic mixer should do the mixing well enough. Best of
luck.
