1. Dissolve sample in 100 microlitres water
2. Vortex and add 10 microlitres triethylamine
3. Vortex and add 5 microlitres acetic anhydride
4. Vortex
5. Dry in Speedivac
6. Dissolve sample in 100 microlitres water
7. Vortex and add 10 microlitres piperidine
8. Incubate at room temperature for 60 minutes
9. Dry in Speedivac
