Ulf,
I have had considerable success using the method of Lui, Tempst and
Erdjument-Bromage. Anal Biochem. 241, 156-166 (1966). You have to get a
detergent (Zwittergent 3-16) from Aldrich. It doesn't seem to matter if the NC
has dried or not.
