Thanks for the replies,
A red herring that the computer couldn't communicate with the sequence
cropped up. Had to remove the firmward card and reset the sequencer, then
reinstall the card.
ABI recomended replacing valve 47 (a 3 way gas valve that sounded
different). No difference.
In the end there was a sliver in line 42. After removing the sequence self
test are okay.

You may have a small amount of back pressure. It maybe worth checking the
vent line for any liquid.
