We are looking at new HPLC's to replace the Waters 600MS HPLC interfaced
with our Finnigan TSQ-700 MS. I am wondering if any of you out there have
experience with the Beckman System Gold Nouveau HPLC. I have acquired some
information on it, but am hoping to tap in to some with field experience
regarding it's reliability and performance.
We are hoping to acquire a reliable system with low dead volume to allow us
to run reproducible gradients at 200 and sometimes 50 ul/min.
We are considering the Beckman mentioned above with a microflow cell
(actually both 410ul and 150ul) and a 4.5 ul 5mm flow cell.
Any experience with this type of instrument would be appreciated. Also, has
anyone worked with their chromatography data system? We are also looking at
the Waters Alliance system. Any suggestions for others to consider would be
welcomed. Looking forward to the Peptide and Protein Sequencing by MS
course coming up next month. Hope to meet some of you their.
