A Research Associate position is available for a BS/MS level scientist
in the mass spectrometry group of the Proteomics laboratory in the
Department of Applied Genomics in the Bristol-Myers Squibb
Pharmaceutical Research Institute. Requirements include a strong
background in analytical chemistry/biochemistry, experimental research
and data analysis. Experience with mass spectrometric and
chromatographic equipment, LC-MS, LC-MS/MS and microanalytical
techniques experience a plus.
Responsibilities will include operating and maintaining TSQ, Q-TOF,
MALDI-TOF MS and chromatography instrumentation, independent problem
solving, and contributing to development of new methods for high
throughput analysis/characterization. Excellent laboratory and
communication skills, initiative and a drive to increase productivity
and efficiency, and to continue technical growth are essential for
success in this position.
