We are working on aminoacid modification and we have to purchase a GC/MS
equipment, in order to dedicate it to analyses of TFA-Met esters of
aminoacids. Since a major constraint in the equipment to acquire is the
price, we have only three options, a Shimadzu GCMS-QP5050A, an HP G1801C
or an 4-year old, second hand, Finnigan Automass 150 GC/MS.
It would be very kind of you to inform us on your experience/feelings
for such an equipment, in order to help us to make the choice
