I have worked out a small-scale purification scheme using the Poros
columns on a Perseptive Biocad and
am now interested in scaling up. I would like to puchase the Poros 50
bulk media and pack my own column.
Are there commercially available columns of approximately 250 ml
capacity that can withstand
pressures on the order of 2000 psi? What kinds of columns do people use
for the Poros 50
bulk media? I would also be grateful for suggestions from anyone who has
used the Poros 50 bulk media
and can comment on the scaling-up process.
