Manfred,
Is it in all of your blank cycle only?
We had an intermittent problems like your expect it was occasionally
during the run and in the initial self test. After changing the Ar
switching valve (ABI's recommendation), it turned out to be a sliver
floating between the valve block and tubing. Sometimes it would lodge into
the tubing and act like a cork in the line. Thus no fluid and so the sensor
failed.

Hey to all,
our 494 has a strange problem and we accnot figure out what happens.
During the Flask Blank cycle the s4 in the large loop is not detected by the
sensor and the system stops. If we continue every cycle after this runs fine
and
when we come to the next cartridge and the balnk cycle starts it happens
again. We changed sensors, teflon tubings, looked for the pressure and so
on,
but we have no idea. It only happens in the blank cycle, not in the standard
not in the normal cycles. We contacted our excellent service technician but
he has never seen such a thing before, maybe another machine somewhere in
the world does the same funny thing.
Thanky in advance
Manfred Raida
