Adobe PDF files

Hi
Has anyone considered or switched to generating Adobe Acrobat PDF files
for distributing DNA sequencing results? Although, we routinely
distribute the electronic (binary and text) results and tell everyone
where to get the free viewer, most of our users still like to get a
color printout. I was thinking that since PDF files are now so common
and easy to work with, that it might be easier to persuade them to
accept a PDF file (which they can easily view or print on their own
computer). It would also be convenient for sending results to external
users.
I can foresee some difficulties in setting up the automatic generation
of these PDF files and without printouts, it may be more trouble to
quickly "eyeball" each result for sequencing quality. However, do any
other labs have comments "for" or "against" this idea?
