Hi
Although I don't have the software yet, I believe the Adobe pdf files
are generated by printing to an Adobe virtual printer plug-in which
generates a PostScript file. The PostScript file is then converted into
the pdf file by Acrobat software. You can find more information on
creating the pdf files on the Adobe web site (http://www.Adobe.com).

Other Adobe Acrobat users may also be interested in knowing that the
latest release (version 4.0) is now available.
