This position will be involved in proteomics and their responsibilities
will include working with new hardware and software for high throughout
Edman degradation. You will also be collaborating with other areas
within our Research Department, as well as with individuals from
academia laboratories. Such collaborations will involve projects with
protein micropurification and characterization of novel proteins.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a team
environment and has a strong set of interpersonal skills to interact
with various levels of scientists throughout our research community.
This position requires a BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry with experience in
one or more of the following areas: HPLC, protein isolation, mass
spectometry, amino acid analysis or protein engineering. It is highly
preferred that the individual have strong computer skills.
