The following position at the New York University Protein Analysis Core
Facility, located in the NYU School of Medicine, is currently available:
Senior Research Technician- Protein Analysis. The ideal candidate will have
a B.S. or M.S. degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field with
some experience in protein biochemistry. Duties will include Edman
sequencing of proteins and peptides, MALDI-TOF and electrospray ionization
mass spectrometry of biomolecules, HPLC, in-gel digestions for peptide mass
mapping, SDS-PAGE, maintenance of computer database files, data
interpretation, ordering of supplies, and assistance with research projects
as needed.
