The Genzyme Corporation currently has professional opportunities available
for analytical protein chemists. Specifically, the Structural Protein
Chemistry Group, which develops methods for the analysis of proteins and
glycoproteins, has multiple Staff Scientist positions open. Qualified
candidates will have a BS/MS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with
significant experience, or a PhD with 0-4 years experience in the analysis
and characterization of proteins. Candidates should be proficient in the
analysis of proteins by HPLC and electrophoresis (IEF, 2D). Experience
with MALDI-TOF MS and LC/MS is also desirable.
