With the advent of more affordable DNA chip technology there comes the
potential for incorporation into core facilities. Has anyone setup such
services? What instruments (arrayers, plate readers) and bioinformatics are
in use? We are looking more at custom cDNA micro-arrays at present but once
whole genomes become available we would look at oligonucleotide arrays
also. Any comments would be greatfully received.
