Hi,

We sometimes leave Fmoc on to help quantify a peptide and then remove it
by treating solid peptide with neat piperidine for about an hour (our
peptides are quite basic and don't dissolve), then centrifuging,
decanting the pip and washing with ether. Removal of Fmoc is
quantitative.
Bye, Alex
