Importance: High
Sensitivity: Low
Dear ABRF Members,
Recently we, Micro-Tech Scientific, have learned that a micro-HPLC
manufacturer has sent an e-mail about several different HPLC systems to
the ABRF. Unfortunately, our company was left out of their list of
systems. If we have in the recent past neglected anyone, we would like to
apologize. Recently, we have been to HPCE '99 & PITTCON'99, and the backlog
of orders for our newest product have been tremendous. We would like to
make up for this by offering 25% off our column stock if you mention this
e-mail.
As such we would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to
Micro-Tech Scientific with its line of innovative products! Micro-Tech
Scientific is the leader in innovation, engineering, and manufacturing of
complete capillary and microbore HPLC systems. We manufacture a range of
products such as; capillary electrophoretic modules, capillary
electrochromatography modules, and microLC pumping systems for Capillary-LC
and LC-MS. We are also one of the only manufacturers of user friendly micro
catecholamine analyzers for sub-femtomole detection. We also produce a
protein/peptide analyzer with 0.1%/minute microgradient operation for
resolution of complex digests, and microbore columns, packed capillary
columns (patented technology), column heaters, and micro-dynamic mixers
(patented technology). We also supply other microLC accessories such as
capillary detectors, autosamplers, and a large selection of data systems.
The Ultra-Plus II Capillary-LC system is based on patented close-loop
integrated digital precision applied to create the most accurate
Capillary-pumping technology in industry. This digital control
Capillary-pump technology has revolutionized the reciprocating HPLC pump
design, and provides optimal performance for both microbore and capillary
HPLC with the following advantages:
1. Close-loop digital computer control for accurate ultra-low flow rates to
.25 nl resolution.
2. Direct lead screw solvent delivery (like a pulse-less syringe pump), but
with a 25 ul syringe volume for ultra-high control resolution with low
maintenance requirements & cost.
3. Capillary-reciprocating pumps creating continuous solvent delivery for
fully automated operations without using a flow stream splitting. With
this system you do not have to worry about non-reproducible flow splitting
due to column flow restriction changes as a result of sample contamination
or sub-cellular particles plugging your column inlet frit. And no time
concerns due to slow syringe chamber refill & re-pressurization.
4. Pulse-free baseline and noise free mixing with a patented dynamic mixing
design, to allow operation at maximum detector sensitivity.
5. Rapid Purge Control (RPC) software & hardware allows rapid gradient
regeneration for high throughput applications and minimal MS idle times.
6. Windows 3.11, '95, '98, and NT-4.0 based pump control software with
auto-purge and auto-pilot proprietary software for ease of MS interface
and ease of method development. The Ultra-Plus II has been successfully
integrated with Micro-LC/MS applications with Bruker MS, Finnigan MS, JEOL
MS, and MicroMass MS Platforms, etc. Micro-Mass link software allows direct
control of Micro-Tech's Ultra-Plus II system.
7. High performance and long life expectancy of capillary columns for
Capillary-HPLC applications. Unique Col-Guard, and the ability to reverse
flow directions with Micro-Tech Columns allows us to produce a superior
product which reduces operational costs.
8. Fully automated systems including; autosamplers, data systems, fraction
collectors, and detectors.
9. Microgradient work can be performed at flow rates as low as 3 ul/min
without flow splitting, and to a few nl/min with an on-board software
controlled flow splitter for nano-spray applications.
10. The fully integrated CE/CEC Module allows for capillary
elecrochromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and electric-field
assisted capillary-HPLC. This innovative product allows the user to
harness the benefits of a multitude of technologies to optimize
productivity in terms of sensitivity, resolution, speed of analysis, and
selectivity.
The system is a high performance, affordable option for LC/MS, protein
analysis, micropurification, and trace catecholamine analysis. The
technology of this system has been around since 1991, and since that time
Micro-Tech has sold a large number of systems to the pharmaceutical
industry, government laboratories, academia, and biotechnology companies.
Many users have seen the value in Micro-Tech Scientific systems and have
purchased upwards of 18 systems for a single laboratory. We can offer you
current literature, catalogs and price lists (competitors excluded) ,
reproducibility data from current customers, and a reference list of highly
reputable labs using many of our systems. If you need immediate assistance
contact us directly at the number below. We look forward to working with
you in the near future.
Sincerely,
