We used the HP1090 for years with very few problems, so we stayed with HP and
bought an 1100. We've had it for about 6-8 months and have been very pleased
with it. I must admit that we don't run volumes of samples like we used to on
the 1090, so the 1100 hasn't really been put thru it's paces, but I would
recommend it to anybody. It is so easy to use, while still being powerful and
sensitive.
