For those interested in peptide chemistry, the 16th American Peptide
Symposium is still accepting abstracts until the end of April
(http://www.chem.umn.edu/16aps). There will be an evening ABRF workshop,
excellent talks and posters on peptide chemistry and applications, and
special student awards and symposium. This year the meeting is being
organized by ABRF members George Barany and Gregg Fields, and will be held
in Minneapolis June 26-July 1. This is a gorgeous time of year in
Minnesota for hiking and fishing trips, before all the mosquitoes and flies
grow up and require human flesh for sustenance.
