we have upgraded our 377s to 96 lanes, but our experience is that the
resolution on the 64-lane gels is still better. Following a hint from thi=
s
newsgroup, we have tested 80-lane combs which use the gel area available =
to
the 377-96, but have slots with identical geometrie as the 64-lane combs.
All fine, but: If we load the 80-lane gels with the 8-channel (Kloen)
loader, there are 16 lanes left on the gel which can not be loaded with t=
he
tool. The reason is that one loads every 4th lane which requires a block =
of
32 lanes to complete. Is there any other tool or idea which circumvents
this problem?
Thanks and best regards, Bernd
