Microarray analysis software

Dear All,

I am in the process of setting up a DNA microarraying core facility which
will be responsible the manufacture and analysis of microarrays, primarily
for RNA expression studies. I currently expect the slide spot number to be
between 500 and 5000 spots per slide, depending upon the researcher (these
are not Affymetrix type chips).

I am aware of several packages available (both commercially and free on the
internet) to analyse data from the TIFF files produced in such studies and
was wondering what software people are currently using? I'd be interested
in any information users have about such packages (good or bad) - naturally
I'll summarise and post to the group.

Kind regards,
Stuart.
