Cabrillo Laboratories of San Diego, CA has an immediate opening for a
research scientist to lead our mass spectrometry group. The successful
candidate will have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with a minimum of 4
years experience in the structural elucidation of pharmaceutical molecules
by mass spectrometry, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS, protein/peptide characterization,
and drug metabolite testing and characterization. Experience in the area of
atmospheric pressure (electrospray, APCI) ionization techniques in mass
spectrometry and an understanding of cGLP/cGMP would be a plus. The
candidate will work in collaboration with a team of scientists in a
multidisciplinary environment to characterize new chemical entities and to
build an independent research group. The successful candidate must
excellent problem solving, oral, and written communication skills.
