Subject: Removal of non-ionic detergent
Hi all,
Does anybody have any experience with non-ionic detergent removal. I use it in a method to de-glycosylate my protein but need to get rid of it prior to ESI-MS. I've tried RPC C-18 but the non-ionic detergent elutes all over the gradient. I've also tried the NID traps from Michrom. They appeared to work for apomyoglobin but did not work for my protein (previously reduced and alkylated).I'm about to try the HILIC spin columns from AmiKa. Has anybody tried these ?. Any information, experiences would be appreciated.
regards
Dougie Lamont
