modified PTC amino acid

Hello all;
A customer recently submitted a small peptide (MW 884) for sequence and
amino acid analysis. I have been unable to get sequence, but the PTC
profile shows a non-standard amino acid eluting just before arginine (ABI
420). The mass works out correctly if I use arginine's mass and add an
acetyl group. The only modified amino acids I know of that elute in this
region are met-sulfoxide, dehydroalanine and homoserine but these are
unlikely candidates. The peptide is probably cyclic and may contain
ornithine, beta diaminopropionic acid, isooctanoic acid or diaminobutyric
acid. Does anyone familiar with amino acid analysis know where these
compounds elute or is willing to take an educated guess?
Thanks for any input,
