Are there any derivatives of Pro (or other tricks) that I can use in a
synthetic peptide that will force the peptide bond to be in either the
cis or trans form?

I have a very simple peptide that may be loosing activity as a
function of time in storage, and ruling out most other possibilities
leaves me with the Pro cis-trans isomerization.
