Greetings--
Thanks to everyone who helped with my question,
although I realize that I asked the wrong
question. What I really wanted to know is if
anyone had sequenced (on a 377XL) a 48 cm plate
using a 4X run.
I did try this and got good, readable sequence to
550 bases before time ran out. The time must be
extended from 3.5 hours to about 8 to get 750 -800
bases. The semi-adaptive base caller works well,
and the spacing should be between 13 and 14.
So, if anyone is interested in running 48 cm at
2400 scan per hour, it can be done.
